4 Day Weekend....

Nothing new to report to you constant reader.
(Stole that from Stephen King! Although I don't presume to believe I have constant readers since only one other person knows about this blog....It just popped into my brain and made me laugh.)
My shoulder is still FUBAR with no relief in sight. I am considering getting a second opinion from surgeons on Oahu. I've said it before and I will say it again....I AM TIRED OF BEING IN PAIN!
I had a 4 day weekend this week since my chef is an idiot. I pretty much laid on the couch and watched movies and read Duma Key by Stephen King. I helped a friend with something that needed to get done. I watched the sunset at the beach with friends and I got my hair done for the first time in a year. Other than that....nothing! It was nice. I'm not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. It kills my shoulder. On top of that I am no longer completely satisfied with my job. I love my actual job, but I don't like all of the stupid bullshit that goes along with it....i.e my chef. But it is hard for me to think about leaving since it is a means to an end for me anyway,. It's just to pay the bills and allows me (because of my seniority) a flexible schedule for college.
That's all folks.

The State of Blah.......

So I haven't written in a really long time because I have been having a rough time and did not feel like writing. I still don't.
An update on the shoulder fiasco: after immobilizing my shoulder for 5 days I was still in pain. my regular physician referred me to an orthopedic surgeon who after examining me said I had 2 options, try physical therapy again or try a cortisone injection. Having already spent 3 months in physical therapy I opted for the cortisone. The injection itself hurt like a bitch, but the next 4 days were worse. I could not even move my arm without excruciating pain, my pain doubled that of the pain before the injection. I had to take 10 days off of work to let the cortisone do its thing. After those 10 days....I STILL HAD PAIN! So I went back to the orthopedic surgeon who examined me again and gave me three options: 1. another cortisone injection in a different spot. 2. An MRI. 3 An arthrogram (an xray where the inject the joint with die). I opted to get an MRI to hopefully discover what exactly is wrong with my shoulder. I get those results on Friday.
On top of all of that my car is not running, she won't start. And I had to kick out and replace one of my roommates. It's been a long painful couple of months.
